At first glance, it might seem confusing as to why this team, which seems to be simmilar to the Tacos, is doing well, considering that their much larger rotation has quite a few TERRIBLE pitchers in there, and their lack of a star batter like Valentine Games doesn’t make up for the more inconsistent batting.
However, this season the Fridays got a modification that has been consistently making them outperform their stats:
This buff might seem marginal, but it’s downright unshakeable. Their moderately-sized team just always plays better than their stats would imply.
As a consequence, while I would not describe the Fridays as the favourite to win the Internet Series, they’re absolutely within shot of it.
