[Misc] The Apprentice - CANNED

Depends on how much you are willing to pay for the first page of Google. We had this discussion last week when we were in a conference call with some Amazon marketing teams about our website

Oh you meant google search keywords

Democracy News would be two keywords

youā€™re all playing apprentice while eevee is over here as if he was an investor from Shark Tank

Thatā€™s not seo anymore.

SEO is without paid adds.

Plus if you want to pay for it, you have to pay more the more popular is the phrase.

I can gurantee that ā€œDemocracyā€ will be rather popular phrase in google.

So sure, you can get first page, but you will increase own costs.

But the way google searches now work is either through how many searches that item has/how many people visited it, or paying money into it

also eevee
catism is a 1.4 mod
outdated as hecc

isnā€™t even finished
the focuses donā€™t actually have names, and the tree is just a modified default tree

I am bit older after all and worked in few companies already.

Including one which was focusing on branding other companies, aka news, logos, websites, SEO, adds.
Like we did total rebranding of one local pizzeria for example.

I worked as website/SEO specialist.
It was back when I was on 1st year of uni.

CTR, yeah.

But cost per click is higher on more popular phrases, so it still means that more popular phrases are more expensive.

It all really comes down to how big the company itself can be. For example, my website about tracking the stock market wonā€™t only be tracking the activity of the stock market but also educate people on the stock market whilst also showing the most important news upfront with a custom search option. The peeps at Amazon told me the exact thing: How do you plan to become the first thing people see in google search without money? I made the statement that since our company is unique it will be easily found, and the other option they said as the website grows more traffic will be directed towards it since more people will be interested in it. As it grows, it will become more easy to find it.

Thatā€™s true.

You could also just optimize it for google engine and make a backbone for it with some bonus sites linking to it to make it seem more popular.

animal planet on the other hand is absurd
you have 8 research slots, start off with over 100 troops and can rush for more land early in

I guess a good example is if you search Democracy now, you get a bunch of definitions of it with some articles and stuff. Depending on how much those companies are paying and how many people search up these articles and visit the websites, making a news channel called Democracy News can bring in people and potentially even become the first thing you see on google, or at least the first page or second page. It all depends on the amount of traction a company/website has. And if we are talking about entertainment, I was thinking about having a TV channel so that will already put us at an advantage against something like a dictionary since people will be looking up for Democracy News, and aside from the dictionary not having a definition for Democracy News, they also donā€™t have their own TV channel. But like I said, it depends on what we are doing. If we are unique enough, or have a medium we can broadcast ourselves from, we have a good shot.

Letā€™s be realistic, I will show you the most recent bot registering.

See? It has link to own website, along with a lot of keywords like ā€œSEOā€, ā€œOnline marketingā€ ect, making it seem like the link is to the site which is about it.

So google knows that some other sites (for example even this forum) link to it in this topic, meaning itā€™s somehow renown about it.

But is that site really of this company? No.

The buzzy dental is just a back site which is meant to link to actually theirs real company, buzzy branding as far as I remember.
Making it another stage in links.

Aka site which gets a lot of links on certain topic links another site with this topic.

So they made theirs back sites trustworthy (and fully under theirs control, cause itā€™s theirs back site), considered by google to be popular and on topic and linking to theirs main site.

Which in effect means that theirs main site is in google eyes more popular than in reality it is.

Thatā€™s how SEO works.

Now tell me you are really able to create more links than to other sites that talk about democracy.
So more links than for exampleā€¦ wikipedia. Or goverment sites.

No, you wonā€™t be able.

Thatā€™s a terrible name choice.

Uni, if people search for this topic often, sure, you would get more clicks into your website when you get on the front page.

But first you need to win vs several hundred other sites on this topic. And this is impossible.

Sure, you can also pay for the front page, but thatā€™s also kind stupid, cause most of people writing ā€œDemocracyā€ in google want to see democracy definition or something. Not your webpage.

Aka you are creating bonus costs for little gain.
And without bonus costs, you areā€¦ wellā€¦ unable to get out of hundreds of other names on the topic.

So as I see it - both teams failed theirs task to create logo which would match any company.

As I said, it all depends. We can be a major broadcasting channel on TV, while this also puts us at competing against giants like CNN, BBC, MSNBC, Disney, etc etc it also puts us at an advantage over 100s of other websites that donā€™t have that type of exposure. At the same time, we can plug in our website like every 30 minutes and expect to see traffic. But for the 100th time and I know this is getting annoying, it depends. I am not even sure what our company is about. I personally wanted the STARS name brand. But I also hold blame in this, I wasnā€™t that active due to outside circumstances and so didnā€™t participate as much as I wouldā€™ve liked to.

Cowboy hat technology.

I already told you this.
