The Shifter :shield:

Neutral Offensive
Dark Entropy (Passive) - From night 2 onwards, you appear as a member of the Unseen/Cult to all faction checks. You will die if Reform Body fails.
Sickly Body (Passive) - All limited-use abilities will have 1 less use when you gain a new class.
Last Chance (Day) - Bleed yourself but prevent all visits to you tonight and the following night. - 1 use
Seeking Bodies (Night) - Learn the possible class types a player could be. (basically just flirt) - 4 uses
Reform Body (Night) - Kill a player, wipe their journal, make them flip as Shifter and become their class. Fails if you are attacked that night. Does not steal class if the player doesn’t die. Heals you from Poison/Bleeding if it works. - 1 use, only usable from N4 onwards.
Become a new class and fulfill their objective.

Feedback:

Shapeshifter:
You have begun your own demise to increase your power! You have begun bleeding and will die in 2 nights, however all visits to you will be prevented on those 2 nights!
You have killed [player] to shift into their body. They were a [class], and you are now their class!

Everyone else:
NONE

It’s the closest thing to a ToL amnesiac that is actually neutral that I’d like to see. It solves the issues with conversion and faction size that a regular Amnesiac has and I beleive it is far more interesting gameplay than “wait for a class you want to die and become that class.”

I think by killing a player and taking their class, that dead player would become the Shifter. Would add some incentive for trying to stop the Shifter from taking your class.

Also petition to change name to just The Shifter

And what does Fix Mind have to do with the identity of the class?

Sickly body already has the purpose of makinig it bad for a Shifter to take your body beyond you being eliminated from the game, because they’re OBJECTIVELY worse than a normal version of the class.

Fix Mind has the purpose of giving the Shifter some way to stop attacks from interrupting them. I might replace it with Seeking Bodies and remove it instead

I saw this on discord too but you shouldn’t become unique classes tho.For example let’s say all healers are dead and prince is dying to bleed/poison and you are shifting him at the same night he was supposed to die bleed/poison would become so op for bd.

it wouldn’t be hard for evils to kill them after that though, it’s really not that powerful. Plus, the Shifter would have a hard time surviving until them with the fact that they’re suspicious to investigatives while being a Shifter.

That is true tho but is this announced like amnesiac in tos ? I like this idea but i think it can upset balances

No, it is not announced, in fact it makes the person who you killed flip as Shifter instead of their normal class.

Which means that it wouldn’t even be really confirmed if there was a body switch at all, only that a Shifter died.

I like how you can become Unique Classes actually, as it doesn’t limit the choices

Oh true read it now.My another question is lemme say you tried to shift death immune target.Or you fail shift somehow.Does your ability count is used or not ?

If you fail because they’re Death Immune or you were occupied, you die. You have to be very careful with how you use your shifts or you’ll instantly lose, so you have to figure out when the best time to shift is.

Any more feedback? I’m thinking of removing FIx Mind and making Seeking Bodies a 4-shot night ability

The shield means Unique, so yes.
