I actually wouldn’t make the person you kill flip shifter. Because if it didn’t then a shifter kill would be indistinguishable from a regular kill making it a more viable fake claim.

the problem is that Shifter can then only fakeclaim the classes of dead people as scum, and I don’t like that tbh

He can fake claim shifter or make a normal fake claim as well.

More importantly. People tend to claim to someone by N4. So whoever you kill someone likely knows what their claim was. So if someone knows what a scum had claimed and you don’t then you get screwed over. However if they just flip scum then you can instead claim a different kill entirely.

Or you try to target the king?

it’s the same as if any other kill interacted with a Reap, you still get their class becasue the kill worked.
you obviously can’t kill King lel

Actually while thinking about it you really need it ad faction check it can be limited uses but it would really help this class

A faction check would be too powerful because it would mean the Shifter would ALWAYS side with BD to use their information.

Make it so it is usable only after using last chance.I think that way shifter cannot help bd.

Maybe like this:
Secret Job(Day):Learn all players faction you succesfully checked with Seeking Bodies at start of night.(Only usable after using Last Chance)-1 use.
What i mean is like this.You will learn their faction at start of night when you need to steal someone’s class.You don’t have even time to show this results with bd this way.Just throwing ideas here.

after stealing someone’s class you still have to play AS that class, and that ability will mean you’ll always want to side with BD
