Opinion Thread: The Fool (ToL)

I think his point is valid, even if the specific scenario isn’t necessarily desirable

Focusing on that is really missing like the whole argument

If a single player of your faction can mess up your whole faction, that’s… really really bad

Suicide guilt literally does this

Anyways guilt off topic but point is solid

Fool adds good wifom aspect

We’ve talked about this for years and out of the 20+ times I’ve asked you for any reasoning on how it’s good you’ve literally never had anything that wasn’t a meme

Had an epiphany yet?

I’ve always proven you wrong with objective arguments and you never could say anything

It’s good cuz it’s fun

I don’t need to go back to threads we argued

It’s not too easy to win as Fool in ToL.

Have you ever seen ToL without the threat of Fool? Your argument falls apart once we consider that we’ve never exploited the potential of testing these kinds of changes out with a PTR to see if things get better or worse without Fool/guilt.

Also the idea that mislynches don’t stop you from that is ???

No no, you just need to understand mechanics
If you want to check for fool, you can ask a Drunk to check him

Drunk died N1

Now what

Making it rand-dependent is actually worse

i agree that creating psychological threats is fine in closed one-off setups but it’s very bad for setups that are intended to be played until the heat death of the universe

CW works too. Let the CW try to empower him. If it’s not “AIDED” it’s probably not a killer
