Yeah I’d like an explanation for this, since I don’t recall even voting today until after this post.
Did he mean Comms wagon?
If that’s the case then I’d like to know what makes those three worse than anyone else on the wagon.
Wait
Why did I not even stop to think about who was asking me this
Why do all the science nerds look the exact same
the biggest problem i see is that coroner isn’t playing like the coroner.
coroner has the unique advantage of knowing every flip, except sympathizer, whose flip they see as town. they are the only slot in this game that has access to wagonomics from yesterday. they are the only slot in the game that could clear up any wrong assumptions we have about the flips, and help us push the correct worlds.
they haven’t been doing anything like that. the only semblance of them doing that is that one string of posts where they call the poe bad, but the reasoning for it is lacking.
the most important thing for the coroner is to townclear themselves, because a towncleared coroner is an incredibly valuable asset and we would likely be protecting them all game. obviously, they haven’t been doing that, either. in fact, they haven’t been doing anything to convince us they’re town. moreover, they haven’t been doing anything to convince us that comms and eavesdropper were town. only a single mention and nothing more. no conclusions drawn from it, nothing. if i were coroner in their spot, i’d try to solve the game, because i have tmi on flips that no one, except for the wolves, possesses.
to be fair, i’d also try to manipulate this information to my advantage as a wolf, but coroner hasn’t even been doing that. or if they have, they’ve been doing it so poorly i didn’t even notice it.
if coroner is town, they are in a unique position to solve the entire game from their pov. they know the alignment of both flipped players for certain, excluding sympathizer possibilities. they know they are town, so at least one slot in the immediate poe has been incorrectly placed in that poe. they know whoever pushed comms and/or eavesdropper yesterday was pushing on a villager. you can do a lot with this information.
what did coroner do? shade the towncore, write a few posts that look like player salad and hedge mazes, and vote for weak reasons. if there’s a will to solve the game there, i’m not seeing it.
i’ve been calling them town for a bit, for a few micro reasons, but in this case i think the macro is overpowering the micro. especially since there has never been a better time for them to solve than right now, and yet they aren’t. it feels like they’re prepared to roll over and die despite proclaiming the poe is wrong. if the poe is wrong, you don’t want to flip. you want to fight it at all costs, because town will kill you and might incorrectly assume you are mafia. you don’t want that to happen. that’s going to be potentially game-losing.
i think i convinced myself to kill coroner.
ready to vote anytime.
if i squint, coroner’s posting today looks like it was taken from r/therewasnattempt. they try to introduce some insightful commentary about alignments, but it is short-lived. as soon as it becomes increasingly clear they are not going to live long, their willingness to solve deteriorates, despite all the mechanical and gamestate reasons they should have not to roll over. they call the poe bad, they shade the entire towncore, vote one of its members, then peace out.
that’s not villager behavior.
I would probably hammer sooner rather than later
I don’t think there’s any more night plan stuff we need to sort out and I’d rather have the time for discussion tomorrow instead if I’m still alive
He’s probably just a wolf
Meaning if he was lying about one of the two flips so far his execution could just end the game
/vote Coroner
hammer is yours.
we’re about to reach the halfway point of our 200 hours, it would-
oh.
/vote Coroner
i dedicate this to my parents, i love them very much.
