Pathfinder Campaign -- Tyrant's Grasp

I mean
Players will be doing most rolls privately in their classcard
No player knows the full intricacies of other players’ characters, at least mechanically
There will also be a DM chat where I will privately perform enemy rolls

I was specifically reffering to private player/player chats that arise for whatever reason

i doubt these will ever be a thing

k

well if there ever are any add me

otherwise i’m good

Okay, so I’m at the point where I have to pick spells. Considering the fact almost all of us decided to make lolspellcasters, I’d like to pick my spells in accordance to what we need. What do we need?

I could try to go for a flexible skillset, but we could at least try to be efficient by not repeating spells for no reason.

what class are you

Sorcerer.

So I pick spells in character creation and I keep them forever unless I choose to swap some of them out later. I can only swap spells out every 4th level though.

Priestess - Ifrit melee Oracle (9/9 divine caster)
Kyo - Kitsune Alchemist (6/9 alchemical caster)
Vulgard - Sorcerer (9/9 arcane caster)
Magnus - Bard (6/9 arcane caster)
Geyde - debuff Shaman (9/9 divine caster)

that’s where we are rn I think

Shaman and Alchemist are prepared spellcaster, means they can switch out their spells each day
we others are spontanous spellcasters, means we have fewer spells, but more spells per day

uhhhhhhhh

We probably have a shit ton of detect magic but it doesn’t really get worse the more of them you have

Hm, there are quite some nice spells on your list

well
sort of

I don’t think cantrips need that much thought beyond
‘this is useful in most situations’

because you’re not going to be using them for damage unless you’re making god tier memes

(or doing the jank with crossblooded draconic + orc)

It depends a bit on your bloodline
especially since you get your bonus spells from there
Some spells which are always useful (1st grade) are Mage Armor and Magic Missile

My personal favorite spell is Shadow Trap
but that’s only because I was playing a Shadow Oracle in my second last campaign, and boosted it to have DC 19 on lvl 1 :joy:

My bloodline doesn’t grant me any spells at first level.

Do we need any specific equipment? I have money to spare.
