Pathfinder Campaign -- Tyrant's Grasp

Yes, you can do this

Would have to remove and replace any aspects of your character that come from the Tyrant’s Grasp Player’s Guide, but that’s it. There would be a different player’s guide with other features specific to the new AP that you could use if you wanted.

well
I’d let other people figure out if they’re okay with that

my character doesn’t really care too much about the context, which is good

In forum rpgs people are rarely online at the same time… that’s why it’s a forum rpg
Me a bit confused

Geyde thinks this game might slog since this AP is very much combat-dominated
so we’ll be waiting a while to move through the initiative.

Iirc the forum I’m reading in does it like that: the Initiative gets into a new round every 24 hours; combat actions don’t have to be posted in order, but they will be processed in order; players who couldn’t be online for 24h can be puppeted by other players

I have no opinion. I’ve never played DND or Pathfinder, idk how it’s gonna work.

Exactly my thoughts Vulgard.
Or, in this case, no thoughts

I know how initative works because I’ve played games like Divinity: Original Sin 2
Tbh I don’t really mind

I like this idea. For important out-of-initiative matters, such as puzzles and major dialogue situations, I’ll give 36 hours or so for everyone to do something with order not mattering.

I’ll be ready to start the campaign once I receive affirmation of readiness from all six players (or notification from those who want out, if any) as well as confirmation that you’re okay with me providing someone else with your sheet to be puppeted, if/when needed.

I’ve figured out a way to make the start of the campaign work without needing everyone online at the same time. Like everything else, it’ll just move at a slower pace (24 hours max per round of initiative, 36 hours max for everyone to do something outside of initiative until the story progresses).

Expect me to not understand mechanics.

I probably screwed up my sheet more than once, too, but that’s okay, I guess.

the most DnD I have played is Borderlands 2’s Tiny Tina DLC

multitrack drifting

I’m playing D&D online sometimes
And a lot of Pathfinder Kingmaker (pc game) in the last weeks, second playthrough
Also I’ve played a lot of classic rpgs (baldurs gate 1 and 2, icewind dale and planescape torment, pillars of eternity and tyranny, blackguards 1 and 2, stygian) which are some based on d&d, some based on other rpg systems, and some are freeform but still have extreme similarities to rpg systems)
