Possessor needs a buff

Right now Possessor seems like the strongest NK. However this is no actually the case as he has the lowest winrate by far even compared to other NK’s

That’s a 7% winrate by the way.

I propose 2 changes:

Change 1:

Day Ability 2: Name needed - Puppet strings will bypass night immunity tonight. (Optional: The person controlled will be notified of the possession when this is in effect). (2 uses)

Change 2:

Just make Possess bypass heal.

Spit the changes out already. Spit it out!

I posted early on accident sorry

It’s was a joke, don’t worry.

There

I don’t think we need to nerf healing, I think healers should be able to counteract attacks.

I like this change, it’s a buff but not a big buff.

I’m talking about the 2 use one. We need to give him some way to deal with a hidden physician and this is my idea.

Remember that using Possess leaves him vulnerable to knights and Hunter bears.

Agreed, I think both changes would benefit the game.

What if Possess just broke all immunities, with the notion that if it breaks night immunity, possessor doesn’t take their body? Might be a lot of text, but I think it gives him a new use of possess other than body swap. This makes possessor about wisely using his main resource. Does he jump bodies? Or does he save it for the King?

The reasoning behind it being like this is that he cannot bypass everything at the same time. So for example in prince whisper meta he needs to either deal with the King or the Physicians but he has to deal with one before bypassing the other matters.

It might be a good idea to have it be the other way around though with 2 uses of PS heal bypass and making Possess bypass night immunity.

Possess already bypasses healing, so it has that purpose. I originally thought Possess bypassing always would be unfair, however, if it’s a limited resource, Possessor still needs to be concerned about when he uses it. This can also be a justification for Knights to guard the King, which can be a side benefit for scum claims.

My understanding was that it was a bug. I do not want it to be one however.

I don’t think it is. The way I’ve always envisioned it, the possessor is literally putting his soul into someone else. Physicians can’t heal that.

Like I said. I want it to not be a bug.

However it was never established that it bypasses healing and by default it shouldn’t.

I would like to say that I think I know why it happens though:

Possess has a heal effect on a successful jump. Maybe it works by bypassing THAT heal on the target with the jump. And then they messed up with how it interacts with a physician.

Again I do not WANT it to be a bug. What I want is for them to put it in the class card and to point it out in the patch notes.

I want a unicorn as a NK.

We can’t all get what we want in life sometimes.

I was thinking, and honestly, you’re just becoming them. Like it’s attack, so knights stop it, but since you become them, any heals ate basically healing you.

What if possess bypassed everything? Like empower reap? And if you hit a knight it just made you possess the night instead? Then you’d effectively have 2 “kills” for night immunes.

Because then there would be no counterplay to it.

I want a unicorn as a NK

Make it happen
