weh I promised Marissa a day and a half ago that I would towncase Zone for her too
and even if I’m starting to doubt Marissa like, a lot I feel like I should do that too
but also I need sleep
so instead of a proper towncase she gets a bullet-pointed list
sorry this is low-effort
- Zone’s “in town-meta,” this is less strong of a point than it was a year ago because he did figure out how to semi-replicate it but I’m not convinced he can do it reliably
here are some posts that I think demonstrate that:
the emphasis on personal bias and the ‘screw you I do what I want’ attitude are both hallmarks of his towngame
- he’s also had some takes that are well-thought-out/creative/depthful/not takes I would expect a wolf to think of
- his frustration at having his reads ignored feels really genuine
as far as I can tell the entire case against him boils down to ‘he claims he got a pep talk from Wind.’ now admittedly it is a little weird, if executed players can send messages, for a dead wolf to give him a pep talk if he’s a villager, but I think that can be explained by Wind being a nice person. Regardless, it’s pretty clearly not a scumslip, since per the OP scumchat is on Discord, and you’d have to be really incompetent to post something on the forums that was meant for a Discord scumchat
