Alright, Iām going to go to sleep. Some last minute comments that kinda turned into a little read list.
As of my last read, I read Vul/Luxy as town and I havenāt caught anything out of the ordinary while breezing through 1000 postsā¦ going to have to go back to that thoughā¦ these were my strongest townreads so i wasnt really looking into them a whole lot
Arete checked by Italy as NSā¦ I dont believe Arete has a reason to tailor tonight. If Kai claims to find Ozz as NS, then I believe Ozz here. Also, since yesterday, I dont think Ozz would meme this much as scum. He is a possible tailor as he was scumread by some d1ā¦ though Iām not so sure if Cult would waste a tailor this earlyā¦ if they would it feels to me like Corax as they have more tailors. Regarding his behavior thoughā¦ now that I know the redcheck was fake heās probably BD, based off how he came out with his Pally claim. I donāt think the response to the reaction test was really too indicative of his alignment though.
Marshal seemed like he wanted to quickhammer Ozzā¦ not so sure how I feel about that. Seemed super confident that Ozz was evil. I want to look at his meta some more before coming to a judgement.
Alice sounds pretty analytical and I think their push on Jgoes feels genuineā¦they also claim to clear Tele with mech infoā¦eh I feel like I wanna know more this though and why exactly they decided to choose Tele as their target especially since they said they were confirmable and we could reasonably expect a claim from them D2 as they were a scumread.
Kai with that reaction test makes somewhat senseā¦ I canāt really see it as an opportunity to quickhammerā¦ but itās the fake redcheck thatās got me thinkingā¦ but I donāt really think Kai would sacrifice himself for Ozz (bc of LHF and because it usually requires one cultist to die in the transaction, putting them behind the other cult and BD). I agree with Luxy on this one, if Kai is cult, itās likely coordinated with either Alice or Ozzā¦my gut tells me that Kai is town tho
Derpās response to the voting train on Jgoes was weirdā¦ they did a reaction test of their own earlier though so I find it decently believable that they thought this was a reaction test as wellā¦

I came into D2 with these four people on my scumlist.
Alice
Jgo
Ozz
Tele
Itās not even halfway through D2 and:
- Alice is playing like BD throughout this day. Unless literally every push was on a BD but thatād be so bad for us I donāt want to assume that.
- Jgo sheeped me instantly on my Tele vote when I thought they were scumbuds??? This threw me for a loop, and itās still possible Jgo is Cult, but it feels tooā¦ easy to lynch them. Is anyone OPPOSED to a Jgo lynch? If yes, is it because you think theyāre BD?
- Ozz is apparently Paladin because of Kaiās reaction check. That whole interaction still feels weird to me, like a Cult gambitā¦ but if he really is cleared, that makes three scumreads of mine problematic.
- I agree with Tele. I really doubt sheās the convert. I was suspecting her to be starting Cult and not Priest, but Alice says she has mech info on Tele and it confirms her claim, soā¦?? Another Cult gambit? I feel weird about this. That said Tele still feels BD todayā¦

This is very wrong. At this rate Iām debating whether I should keep tunneling my initial reads or try a new approach with others.
Basically Iām really suspicious of the fact my scumreads and tentative BD reads are confirming my strongest scumreads as BD, mechanically or otherwise.
I need to take a different look at this. Not sure how I will do it, but we need a new perspective.

Havenāt really been able to read up but seeing that we got people supposedly confirming others among our early SRs then one of Kai/You/Dat (also not necessarily my town core, this is what Kai said) probably is a meanie because I highly doubt every starting meanies are among Frost/Soul and then the more-so lurkers. I donāt see how thereās no evil people pushing the wagons we did
Iām getting the impression the wagons today might have been Cult members pushing between each other. That would explain why opinions seem to be so divided and why different people confirm the targets of different wagons.

I agree, I think Kai and Ozz may be the same scumteam. However, Ozz feels extremely towny which made me think maybe Kai and Alice?
I guess, itās true weāve been reading Kai positively for the human part of his gameplay and thatās why AtE is often to effective in Mafia, people read mostly based off whoās a douche and whoās a cool dude

Alright, a readwall without explanation isnāt the best way to do a read wall in my honest and unbiased opinion but itās a start. It might be easier to draw associations here once a couple of other people have flipped. Note that he posts another readwall later in the day.

THANK YOU Yeah, this push feels pretty natural, maybe thatās just the mindmelding talking but it doesnāt feel constructed. I think the odds of Marshal/Ozz as a scumteam are basically zero.

More pushing on Ozz. Iād be a hypocrite if I held that against him in a vacuum.
A couple of the read progressions here donāt exactly make sense, like pushing Magnus from scum to null, but these mostly seem reasonable? I feel like the D2 reads are more cautious than the D1 reads, which is interesting since we have more information now. Also, thereās no Hja read the second time, I just think thatās funny.
I donāt think this is an unpopular opinion at this point, but.

Not wanting to kill random people, particularly Jgoes. This generally shows a lack of opportunism, which I tend to think is townie (it would be pretty easy to get a mislynch on an inactive or someone with an unimpressive D1/D2), which counters the main reason I could have to suspect him.
??This is totally out of line with the rest of his Iso and his train of thought previously.
In any case, I overall think Marshal is probably town here, based on lack of opportunism and progressions that feel basically logical. The last post I quoted is pretty scummy but I donāt think that overall itās enough to detract from the other things I noticed.
