SFoL 58 Balance Talk V3

I feel like Soulcatcher should start with 1 or 0 souls, nerfing the Priest by proxy.

0 might be a little excessive because if you’re not good at predicting nightkills you can never use your most important ability, meanwhile Blasphemer gets this for free.
On the other hand though, Blasphemer also dies upon reviving, has to catch an Unseen member who got lynched and only has one opportunity to do that.

Imagine masons
GET RID OF DAY DEAD CHAT

Uh god I have such nightmares on Day Deadchat Communication, it was just horrible :eyes:
We had it SFoL Abyss … deadchat did lead court.

That’s what I did though. :upside_down_face:

There was a Priestess class in HoB II that was all day dead chat and unconvertible which kind of ruined the game

I’m ruining all games, even the games I’m not in

I wish I could just snap my fingers, and all dead chat interaction would cease to exist

You were in HoB II

value town

Priest is kind of a staple now in SFoL

I know
That doesn’t mean I can’t hate it to death

Typo lul

It’s not a typo
I just really love the dynamic

I think deadchat interaction is fine in this setup because it’s clear from the very start that it can come from both alignments and even resurrected players are not to be trusted.

There is no conservative king in this game ):

I also know
I looked at the context

Night Deadchat is probably okay
Day Deadchat is horrible, since it allows the Dead to rule the court

It literally makes the deadchatter a messenger.

Preist: Marshal says “I scumread So and So because of this, and everyone should vote em”

Priest: Vulgard disagrees, saying “So and So is locktown, do not lynch him”

Priest: Marshal says “shut up nerd”

Also I made sure Prestige/unique classes could not be resurrected because screw reviving the Duke twice or as a convert.
