It should be easier to find mafia in this environment, then. They canāt metaread anyone.
I think metareads are the easiest reads to make if you are mafia. You are taking prior experience with other players and applying it to the current game in whatever way you desire. As long as you make it sound believable, you look like you are being helpful.
So far, Thomasā replacement has been the opposite of the previous slot holder. Iām looking forward to this.
While I disagree on Isabel, I might need to take another look at Gilbert. I considered Gilbertās arguments for Thomas being town quite towny, because he actually looked for an explanation, instead of just taking Thomasā alignment for granted or ignoring him altogether.
Iām not sure about Susan, but maybe I just missed it. I agree about Lucy, Iām surprised she wasnāt protected. Her town captain attitude day 1 warranted protectives.
I keep reading and I find Thomas 2ā push on Gilbert increasingly convincing, mostly as a result of what Thomas 2 is saying and what they sound like. I still need to re-read Gilbert myself, though.

I would like you to do something that requires more effort. Anyone can read lowposters. There isnāt much to read, which means there isnāt much to fabricate and make mistakes in.

I like the fact Edmond asked this question, because I wanted to do it myself in this exact moment. Strengthening my townread further, and doubting that Edmond has been converted.
The fact he had a very poor explanation for wagoning Geoffrey does give me pause about Geoffreyās alignment, but Iād rather not preflip either of them until we actually see the flip (s).
Iām still waiting for him to provide more advanced reads.
I would argue he is scummy enough to be killed today, but I suppose we can wait until tomorrow, after the primary mafia reads are resolved.
I had the same thought. Itās genuinely baffling to me how you wouldnāt notice a new player being in the game (with a different nickname) unless you were just faking it.

I see this slot as actively trying to be UTR (wow oxymoron), and they seem to be trying to clear themselves through a little bit of mech. Sure they may have been helpful at times, but how hard would it be to act similarly as scum?
