Luxy be gaming :stuck_out_tongue:

although apparently people thought you were me so if you were trying to impersonate me i uh wouldn’t have fallen for that

tbh, I don’t get how people can recognize alts on more than general skill level.

Like when I’m playing, I know different players’ metas and can read them as such, kind of like recognizing a voice with a heavy accent. The more I interact with them, the better I understand/read them.
But when it comes to playing with alts, I can still recognize the voices of these people and understand them, but except for the most obvious players I couldn’t say who they are.

So when it came to playing an alt, I knew it was either, be obviously me (not fun) or pretend to be another player. But for most players, my knowledge of their playstyle is again like recognizing a voice—I have no idea what sets different playstyles apart, even if I can recognize them.

So that’s why I picked whysper to impersonate. Just slap some  and :frowning: in, and try to have a innocent, confused, newbish tone. Probably easiest impersonation ever maybe. But then I messed it up by assuming that everyone on the forum (who hasn’t already said otherwise ie derps) is around my age. Which in retrospect is really dumb, but live and learn ig.

So that’s my $0.02 on alting. 8/10 would do again, but possibly try to pay attention to people’s styles a bit more first. Although actually maybe not—after I stopped confusing names and pfps, I really didn’t find it any more difficult to read people than normal (although I don’t know if ease==accuracy).

i saw you change that 7 to an 8 you ain’t slick
