Roll on up gentlemen, and welcome to SFoL17 - The Carnival!
The country of Adiart has an ancient and profound history, and a turbulent and cuttthroat present. However, the nobles of the Blue Dragon faction that has ruled for aeons have gone for a holiday at the sprawling carnival that surrounds Castle Adiart.
Unfortunately, they aren’t getting a rest any time soon.
Gameplay
- Days last 96 hours, or until a majority is reached for execution. Nights last 48 hours.
- All actions must be sent to the mod.
- Unseen/Cult will talk through a special Discord server. They may talk at all times.
- The priest will speak with the dead through a separate Discord server.
- Other than regular Fool and Masochist, all classes will be used and will be used as they are found in the Class Cards Thread, unless otherwise stated
Executions
- To accuse someone say “/accuse [player]” or “/vote [player]”
- Votes saying Execute or Pardon before the target is on the stand will not be counted.
- Should the votes reach the majority, that player will go on trial. They can give a defence, and the rest of the players must vote Execute or Pardon on the thread.
- Players can discuss while the target is on trial.
- No one is able to use day powers when a trial is in session. The only exception is the king’s Decide Fate.
- Every trial will go on for 24 hours. However, if The King uses decide fate it will be cut short.
- Trials do not pause the day counter.
- If the option with the most votes is what happens to the target.
Picking a New King
- If there are less than 4 players a new king will not be selected.
- After a king’s execution the day does not end, an election shall be held right after.
- When the king dies 24 hours is given for any player with royal blood to step up and take the throne.
- After that 24 hours anyone is free to step up.
- If only 1 person steps up when the day ends that person becomes the king
- If 2 people step forward everyone votes on who should be the next king. Whoever has the most votes at the end of the day becomes the king. If the votes are tied whoever stepped up 1st becomes the king
Special Mechanics
Roll on up gentlemen! - Throughout the game, various special events will take place. These take the form of subgames where you can win special prizes!
New classes! These two classes have been added:
Trickster
Blue Dragon Social
Stockpile Prize (Passive) - I will PM you a prize that the players will win at the end of the event at the end of each night. The last prize received through this ability will be the one used. You will not get a new prize if you are occupied.
Special Event!!! (Day) - Start a special event, with a size being about a quater of the playerlist. You will write the flavor text for this event. I will run said event (1 use)
Swapsies! (Day) - You will be PM’d the potential prizes to every event, and can swap the prize with one of your stockpiled ones freely (3 uses)
Your objective is to Eliminate the Unseen, The Cult, and any Neutrals who stand against you
Fool
Unseen or Cult Social
Outsider (Passive) - You don’t know who your faction teammates are, but don’t count towards their faction limit.
Stockpile Prize (Passive) - I will PM you a prize that the players will win at the end of the event at the end of each night. The last prize received through this ability will be the one used. You will not get a new prize if you are occupied.
