Explanation/Why Sheriff and Paladin should be merged

I get why a scum cop is needed(to prevent conversion from getting out of hand), but there doesn’t need to be a separate cop for each faction. It is important to know which enemies you are dealing with(reaper/possessor/sorcerer and cult/unseen), and playstyles can change based on your enemies. It’s not fair for the Blue Dragon to know what the opposing faction is at the start of the game. Plus this is also a game based around social deduction, and instantly knowing the enemy faction is not deduction.

They’re boring(IMO). All you do is check players each night and get 2 results.

They become useless once their respective faction is dead.

Smite is overpowered. It makes 2 players conversion immune(and there are enough unconvertables. It’s not uncommon for a converter to go several nights without a successful conversion). On top of that it can kill the Cult Leader, and you do not even have to know who they are. All non-investigative abilities should have some risk involved. Finally, smite takes little skill. Sure, you have to time the usage, but I’m mainly referring to how it works on yourself here.

Surveillance is just a better Expert Investigations, the only advantage Expert Investigations has is unlimited uses.

Paladin should be removed for now, but it should be brought back and reworked sometime in the future.

Blue Dragon Investigative
Night ability 1: Inspect(Uses: Unlimited)- Determine if your target is Scum(Any Unseen/Cult member) or not suspicious
Night ability 2: Surveillance(Uses: 2)- Choose a class. You will be notified if your target is that class.
Day ability 1: Scout(Uses: 2)- You will be alerted if a scum attempts to visit your target. Remains on your target until you command them to target someone else
Day Ability 2: Expert Investigations(Uses:2)- If Inspect finds scum, then you will be told their exact class
Marshal
Unseen Investigative
Passive 1: Prisoner- You will be notified who is jailed each night.
Night ability 1: Probe(Uses: Unlimited)- Determine your target’s exact class if they are a part of the Blue Dragon
Night ability 2: Warrant(Uses: 3)- Determine your target’s class if they are not a part of the Blue Dragon.
