actually not as stark as i remembered, but i do remember wolves agenda-ing the fuck outta this wagon to keep daddy alive.
like i was losing in votes something like 6-0 and we just piled onto that wagon and had the wolves defend me or just ignore me

I think the difference I see is that there wasn’t really much danger of a wagon switch – like, Derps was top wagon by a large margin, he’d been that way for a good chunk of the day, in worlds where Ash is town there was actually no danger of scum getting lynched and even in worlds where he’s scum the risk is lowish

it makes sense in both of the ash/htm and squid/merc worlds.
basically mafia started the wagon, town liked the wagon, and mafia sealed the deal to make sure ash wasn’t lynched(or just sealed the deal for other reasons).
theoretically can be done by 2 maf but seems like a 3 man job
