City
Jumping around a little, let’s head over to (one of) my top scumreads
The main thing going against City is the wagonomics
And not just that they voted town out; it’s that they consistently vote at the last minute.
See these:
voted four minutes before EoD
Hammer vote
Last vote as well, 1 minute before
In the case of both Marl and Leafia, they switched their vote at the very last moment, often becoming the tiebreaking vote (was tiebreaking in leafia at moment of vote, shifted 4/3 to 5/2 in marl)
And in all of these snapvotes, they fail to explain their reasoning behind them, just “wups I’m sorry but it has to be done”
I have no idea where people are getting “city town” from any of this and frankly find that scummy as well
min
My second scumread, which is partly an association read with City
Talking strictly wagons, min has 1) not voted, 2) voted the later-revealed PR, and 3) voted Marl out of “self-pres”
The one I scumread out of here are 1 and 3.
D1 was a fierce TvT wagon, and it makes sense that scum would want to take no part in it; that being said, I believe min was absent during EoD1 so this one is a meh
The D3 wagon is a little weirder, and where I get the “association read” from; when the wagon was tied 3v3, with city being on min’s wagon, min “self-pres’ed”, then City’s vote immediately followed
As I believe I have previously noted, I can only see this as scum being afraid someone will come in and vote min. City didn’t explain any of their votes, and voted Marl as the final nail in the coffin; what does this say about min’s alignment?
Besides that, min’s pushes have just been abysmal this whole game; I can point to the one where they wouldn’t give up the “cheese’s initial 3 people team was bad lol” point until well into d3
January
The least egregious of my scumread trio.
The non-independent portion of the scumread is documented well here:
[VFM] Elf Gold Rush - Day 5 (7/15) - #6862 by Vulgard
TL;DR, he pushed only on villagers, had completely unexplainable reads, and the only thing they have going for them is that they were condescending
The independent part of my read comes from the “condescending” portion of the last point; January has been acting extremely adamant that they’re town, saying things along the lines of “oh I will die tonight” and acting as if he’s cleared.
All of this is simply absurd to me, given that for every person in the game, there should be no slot that you are not willing to reconsider; sure some slots may look more favorable than others, but nobody should be giving January the locktown treatment they claim they require
I don’t ever see town doing it in this situation.
I frankly am working with a City/min/January team right now, with Zone or Windward being possible candidates for maximum one of the three
too sleepy to review everyone, so left out my two nullreads
hope y’all understand ._.
current vote would be on City
