i mean i heard someone TR’d cloned off getting annoyed at january, but i think everyone including the wolves has gotten annoyed at january at some point
you know what, maybe you’re right and this is the problem with my readlist
my problem is that placing min in my PoE yesterDay meant that cloned was above the null line (not to mention the whysper thing)
and last night I put cloned in my PoE and moved min above the null line
simply because I didn’t think they’re w/w, but i really should have kept both of them in the PoE if i thought either one flipped scum
i had min/cloned as not w/w
i had pigeon/clownzu as not w/w (lol)
i had cloned/whysper as not w/w
cloned looked towny for pointing out that whysper seemed to be trying to tie herself to him
but it actually looks scummy now because whysper flipped town and cloned didn’t even vote whysper, out of paranoia that whysper flipped town if i’m wolf
so he just launched straight into a “why i think wind is wolf” post today and immediately voted me for being wrong on whysper
when he did exactly that at SoD2 and immediately voted marl after leafia flipped town
he’s just chain yeeting villagers imo and trying to deflect the blame because he doesn’t vote on the main wagons
actually I have to think about something
gonna leave my vote on cloned anyway since he’s voting me already and it’s not like he can omgus me if he’s already voting
i will read his case on me in a bit, though, and see if i change my mind
@Vulgard why were you so convinced yesterDay that Clownzu was scum? I know you said she just seemed like she was lurking but were there any particularly strong reasons you thought she was more likely a wolf than a villager?
I do take full credit for Whysper’s death
my point is the pattern in cloned’s pushes
he votes immediately at SoD on whomever pushed a villager the day before, says they’re scum, and then makes a case on someone else
D2 he voted Marl but cased Nuclear
D3 he’s voting me but cased Marl/Vulgard
i’m saying it would’ve been safe for him to vote whysper anyway because i would not have blamed him for it
i would still have taken 100% of the blame for whysper’s flip
but he stayed off it despite expressing that he thought she was very likely scum for her “relieved i don’t have to wolf with cloned again” comment because he thought I might be a wolf
and yet he voted neither of us
This is a really wolfy POV, actually. Thinking about what the people you’re pushing would say in scumchat, likening it to your own wolfplay and pushing them on it isn’t what I’d expect a villager to think about first. It reads like cloned has scumchat himself and is injecting that into his push.
Entrance string of posts looks fine, I also agree with this point in retrospect.
This is actually a towny POV.
The second statement reads like openwolfing. I said this before at some point pregame, but telling the truth as a wolf (so, openwolfing) is easy.
I keep reading this push and I keep trying to figure out if cloned has a single decent reason for it. He doesn’t. I don’t understand why this push exists. I don’t understand what he supposedly thinks. He’s pushing cloned and Leafia, two flipped villagers, on an interaction technicality, while avoiding pushing min (once more W/W sign, though I dislike preflips). This doesn’t look genuine.
Min seeing themselves as LHF already is interesting? Interested to see if it’s consistent in later posting.
How is pushing three players even remotely RVS?
This is about Cloned.
The thing is, he doesn’t really cling to it? He brings it up as a defense/justification, but that’s not really how he treats his push. The push is evidently not an RVS push, so him bringing up RVS here all of a sudden is a preemptive and easy copout justification.
Don’t think it’s AI for Windward, by the way, and I agree with the general sentiment that cloned’s play here is wolfy.
Further explanation, but it’s not consistent. I think I’m seeing what Windward saw earlier, his explanations don’t match the actual mindset behind his posts. He claims his reads are going to be wrong anyway and yet he construes a scumteam of three. He’s acting as recklessly as possible for… ??reasons?? but doesn’t actually seem to use that as a reactiontest (lol) or anything, so the supposedly intentional recklessness wasn’t used for anything and this looks like a backhanded defense in-context.
Objectively correct statement, not really AI though.
Min staying out of this messy push and not getting defensive over it, while getting much more defensive over my pointed accusation is noteworthy, but I don’t think I’m going to find anything there. Other than this being another potential sign of W/W with cloned (doesn’t care what he is doing, at least not really, but cares what I am doing).
I actually think the hedge here is villagery, because I’d expect wolf!Windward to be all over cloned here and just push him, regardless of cloned’s alignment. Windward is a self-proclaimed busser. Even if W/W with cloned, she has an easy distancing push here and isn’t taking the bait. And if cloned is V, well, same thing but you’re aiming for a misyeet instead.
The lack of opportunism and jumping to conclusions seems village indicative to me. That said, I’ve literally never played with wolf WWA before, so I’m going about this based on how I’ve seen her play and how I’ve read her play described to me.
he has death tunnelled me in every single game we’ve been in together except for the Thing Game where we were anonymous for half the game, and Warrior Cats where he said I was probably scum but didn’t vote me
in all other games he tunnelled me the entirety of the time he was alive and also voted me
it’s a dumb tell, i know, and it’s not 100% guaranteed, but it’s still pinging me as off.
