Iā€™d argue 6 may still be too low but Iā€™ve seen some dumbass shit pulled in ITAs here so itā€™s probably fine

Plus a town sweep here wouldnā€™t even be that bad lol

Yah when I did the math for this game I took regular mountainous numbers (1:4 maf to town ratio) and just did that for 25 players without factoring in that ITAs are inherently sided. Thatā€™s my bad.

considering this is i42 forums in particular, it should be 21 vs 4

You pretty much had a threefold problem regarding being read socially in SFoL63.

A) Literally everyone except me/you/Frost were mechanically confirmed as not the Visionary, which meant that the lynch was thunderdomed into either one of us three, and Frost was bled by a consensus villager, so nobody would kill a bleeding player.

B) Since the lynch was locked on both players who were not confirmed to be bleeding then the lynch was a thunderdome between you and me who had four-five pelts and was a consensus townread for much of the game. Like, you didnā€™t make many interactions d1 at all, and thatā€™s a problem in nearly all of your games, so if you end up getting thunderdomed by a wolf that has bussed or distanced then your odds are not that good.

C) You didnā€™t shoot. Put yourself into Unseenā€™s position that game. If there was a player on the PoE who claimed overnight IC and in the next day he claims he couldnā€™t reveal himself because he was busy cooking dinner then what would you do?

Thing is FoL is a semiopen so you could at least guarantee that the Visionary was in me/you/Frost.

As I said before, Frost was bleeding and then in order to survive youā€™d have to become more towny than me, and since I was in the towncore for much of the game then yeah.

Weā€™d have give you more leeway if the wolves could have had a roleblocker. By then it was only the Visionary and Heroine alive.

It really depends on the setup, tbh.

Killing a revealed IC, a green check in a game with no godfathers, or a vig claim in an open setup is nonsensical.

On a closed setup, nobody is truly confirmed unless they are an IC or a mason. In FoL where itā€™s semi-open, yeah.

Am I allowed to shoot myself to remove myself from the PoE?

i asked about this privately for Science reasons and the answer is no

you cannot self-ITA and AtE

There was literally no negative effects of letting me have another day to resolve. If I was the visionary I either swap out with my convert or just donā€™t do anything because there were no converts that night.

I tried pointing out how that is in your scum range, but no one ever listens to me.

response A also I still think the benefits to letting me resolve that night were better than getting rid of me like that

Thatā€™s true, but if there was would you not do a play like that? This is more of a problem with mechanics only reads, which is easy as hell to fake and frame others.

Thatā€™s also true, but I donā€™t believe in mechanical solving alone. It just doesnā€™t win many games.

also sorry @Chloe I just had to respond in thread

I will try to take future replies out of thread

It would be a waste of a lynch to yeet a bleeding player. We were effectively thunderdomed and I would also ā€œself-resolveā€ overnight, which is why we yeeted you.

Iā€™m never out of my scum range, tho. So itā€™s not like thatā€™ll be a convincing argument.

Mostly relate lol

If I had been Unseen at that point, I probably wouldā€™ve been certain by then that you were a wolf the way you were pushing on Gorta because in his defense, he was completely in his toiwn meta last gam and what wolf would bleed you over killing you anyway? Iā€™m certainly glad that your idea oif claiming the fake bleed worked though.

Just the fact that you didnā€™t agree with my plan shouldā€™ve been a giveaway that you werenā€™t town since no matter who the visionary was between Frost and Gorta, my plan was the best way to go about things ironically enough. To think that if town had listened to a wolf, they wouldā€™ve been a lot better off. Anyway, enough of me talking about that game now. Letā€™s concentrate on this one.
