It’s kind of simple, I agree with livicus that this game someone not new killed squid, if they were not new they wouldn’t have targeted squid they would have targeted a better person, while vets would certainly target squid as they are a old player, and the least likely to be protected.
It’s quite simple that the new people will target who they think is better, it may sound rude tbh buts it’s true imo. You were barriered because you were new and good at this game.

I’ve been out most of the day getting ready for stuff in Uni.
I found something quite suspicious right now, and the person that sounds kinda sus to me, is actually Mathblade. If you might remember, he did admit further up say that he didn’t want a Court Wizard to barrier him, yet Posioned barriered him anyway. It doesn’t look like he was too angry with that…
But the question is, why didn’t he want to get barriered? This can mean different things.
All those sound far-fetched, but right now, that’s what is going through my mind right now.
Also I highly doubt he would do that as NK, it puts unwanted attention on him.
It’s more likely he’s a neutral but not the NK, but a peaceful one who maybe the town will let live later, pointing out the first option was bad tbh because you know how many unconvertible there are.

That’s the thing that’s bothering me. They seemed adamant that they don’t need it at all.
After that revelation, this pretty much confirms that he is unconvertible. I have reasons to believe at the moment until otherwise, he could be BD rather than a neutral. He is actively scum hunting right now (well, was when they were here). I seem to have noticed in games with more experienced players, unconvertible BD classes tend to hunt more for scum, whereas the neutrals stay quiet. Maybe I’m wrong, and actually, this is a neutral trying to scum hunt. The issue there then is, if they are neutral, what can they be? Could they be NK, trying to blend in? Could they be something like an Alchemist, trying to get the attention of the BD to side with them or what have you. They could even be Fool trying to make themselves look active, push off a few mislynches and make us lynch them in response.
However, right now, my gut says they are BD.

I feel they are more likely to be BD than neutral however. That’s what my guts telling me right now anyway.

Because if the former happens (which I doubt) a ton of eyes will zoom in and focus on me. Being a vocal player grants that pretty much anyway.
And if the latter happens (which I still doubt) then my flip will show I am BD all along and a threat worth killing.
There are a lot of BD and I am not survivalistic. There are a few ways scum can outsmart me but when scum go for the active players it gives a lot of content.
