Right now Moleland seems to just like making other people feel upset for his own enjoyment. I strongly object to this type of slightly mean tone and style he has. I do, however, have experience dealing with people like this. You sure do meet a range of people on the internet the longer you have been on .

I think his slot will be easier solved once there are a few flips and his convictions/reactions around learning he was right and wrong. I am not going to say exactly how I would expect someone of each alignment to do so, because then it could just be faked, but I think that his slot is more or less =rand right now.

Vulgard seems very over-eager. I want to see if he keeps this level of high WiM later on and what he does with it. He seems super polarizing right now, kind of a “you love him, or you hate him” type guy. I am honestly not sure where most of these reads come from, I see a lot of unsubstantiated posts just saying that he is a mafia or he is a town with no reasoning.

I think his eagerness, specifically to solve, is townie. This read is subject to change, it depends on how he handles his posting, but so far it seems like he is responding to and consuming as many posts as he can, and thoroughly enjoying it. From my experience, both how I personally feel and what I’ve seen over my years of playing, is that wolves often do not genuinely enjoy faking solving (I sure don’t ) , and vulgard just seems realy happy with himself!

Maybe I am biased because I like to see people enjoying themselves, but the way he is going through posts and his tone while doing so gives me the vibe of “town member who is having fun towning”.

Reading through this thread I have noticed a lot of memeing. I will chalk it up to us only being ~3 hours into this day. But I would love if players would make themselves readable. Memes are not a lot to go off of.

These two posts in particular ping me as towny. Feels like you’ve got a good idea of what needs to get done and trying to do it–sort of vibe.

Elephas looks like he’s trying to do the work, but with just a bit more defensiveness (a normal level, not hyper-defensive)

These two takes don’t say very much. I would love a bit more detail as to why those posts ping you as townie. Which if my posts make you feel like I am “trying to do the work?” And why do you not townread other players who are attempting to solve, such as Cat?

Why don’t you townread me for the same reasons? I’m not saying you should, but I’m genuinely interested what you think I am lacking and what they have.

This is a rather serious accusation. From my understanding, a chainsaw defense implies both players are scum, no? A scumlean doesn’t seem to add up with this. Please expand on this thought process.

Odd vote. I find it peculiar that Wiisp votes katze here over the assumption that they were being truthful about being a wolf. Why did they not mention anything regarding sulit, if the post they took at face value stated sulit is a wolf as well? Do not like.

I am unironically townreading Derps for OwOing. I think as scum he either doesn’t care or makes fun of me, but here he’s expressing curiosity in the weirdest way possible.

Could be a faked post, obviously, but I don’t think wolf!Derps fakes that specific thing. So, yeah.

“Townread” implies this is a strong read, no? Can you tell me how certain of a player’s alignment you are if you townread them? We may vary on this.

I do not know the meta of katze, but I dislike their level of… memery. I hope they make themself more readable as the day progresses.

“You should be doing things right now” is a wolfy excuse for an early vote on someone. That type of vote is also almost exclusively aimed at a villager (if it comes from a wolf).

If Flameo is a wolf, Io is likely town.

Because the mindset of town making an early vote isn’t “this person didn’t do awesome things with their early posts, so they must be a wolf.” It’s “this person did suspicious things early on, they must be a wolf.”

Jumping on a silly post that says something about scum being in the lowposters is a very low-level thought for a villager, and Flameo doesn’t come across as a very surface-level player.

I can’t believe I’m explaining this so elaborately.

I do like this explanation, but I wish there wasn’t a seesaw in the previous post I quoted.
