[VFM] JoaT^2 - (6/15) - šŸ˜¹ Pirates (Town) Win!

Ah! Hello Vulgard and Flameo.
Here right as I am about to hit the hay. I suppose I can stay here a short while longer, as I wanted to interact with you two.

Forgive me if Iā€™m missing something, but is there a point to this post? It is rather confusing. I canā€™t tell if this is self-meta, or a joke. I donā€™t have a good understanding of who here uses sarcasm.

I see we found the same contradiction. Curious if you read my post first, or saw this on your own?
I quite like the ā€œvibeā€ I get from this entire post.
They have analyzed Vulgardā€™s posts deeper than I did, and this feels well-formed; rather solid points.

If it helps motivate you, I would also appreciate answers to the questions Flameo asked - at least the non-hypotheticals. It may help me understand your thought-process in more detail.

I donā€™t follow it either. This is why Iā€™m bad at explaining reads.

My main problem with Mole right now is exactly this. Good grief, Iā€™m just going to use other peopleā€™s explanations as mine this game.

Vulgard,
I donā€™t want to distract you as you catch up on the thread. I saw you mention that you were behind by three hundred posts.
Please do take your time.

My post with the vote on Flameo is less complicated than you guys make it sound. I think itā€™s a wolfy vote, and I have an associative read if Iā€™m right, but if Iā€™m wrong, then the associative doesnā€™t exist. I prefer to make that clear so wolves donā€™t use that to misyeet two people in a row somehow.

I quite like this answer. Perhaps I was misunderstanding the wording you used alongside your vote.
You seem to believe this, and it does not sound like forced reasoning.

Thank you.

In general, I feel like a lot of players this game are overcomplicating everything and maybe thatā€™s what makes me a bit annoyed.

Towny exchange in my opinion, on both sides.

Possibly W/W too but I find both of them independently villagery. Sulit seems free-flowing and sheā€™s far more level-headed as a wolf. Wispā€™s borderline shitposting is a decent look because I think it shows a high level of comfort in the thread.

To be fair, Iā€™ve never seen Wisp as a wolf, so this read might be meaningless meta-wise, but I think his posts are villagery independently from meta.

??? Thatā€™s not my experience with him at all, heā€™s a good wolf and I always got the impression he enjoyed being a wolf.

His reaction was surprisingly hostile for a bystander.

I think this take is something V!Leafia writes way more often than W!Leafia. I believe W!Leafia jumps to a conclusion about CatLoverā€™s alignment more readily. This feels like a natural progression into that.

Like, come on, guys. Look at these posts and tell me this isnā€™t LHF. I sense immense LHF energies.

Maybe I was wrong about calling their posts LHFy on purpose, but either way, yeah.

Early readlist with tons of nulls is admittedly :/. Why did you feel the need to post this?

This feels organic

Very villagery post.

Very towny from Wisp.

I do not understand why this wagon exists.

In my experience, people who refer to or discuss their own meta like this are usually scum

Okay, Wisp is town. The way their progression seems to work is distinctly villagery. Nothing feels fabricated or stilted, and the process isnā€™t rigid.

This.

Wazza claiming VT as one of the first things he did this game is unfortunately a villagery thing to do when you are under suspicion early.

ā€œUnfortunately townā€ is my take. Unless they are doing it on purpose. But if not, then I think they are very likely to be town.

Their posts are justā€¦ so obviously underwhelming, Iā€™ll be surprised if this flips wolf. From my experience, the obvious answer is rarely the answer.

:[

YES. Finally someone worded this in a way I can get behind.

Disagree about Elephas, I think their sheer volume and thought process transparent in the thread makes them >>rand V.

ā€œVulā€ might be easier for you.

Ah, I do love the classic unexplainedDerpsTakes :tm:.

I might change my mind if they continue to be underwhelming throughout the day.

The amount of time ash has spent defending himself should be telling about his alignment, but I have no idea what conclusion to draw. Iā€™ve only played with him once and I misread him when he was town. But in that game, he spent less time defending himself and more time actively scumhunting, even though I kept voting him and pushing for him.

So, based on my experience from that one game, his obsession with defending his slot is wolfy. But Iā€™m not certain about it.

Aaaaand I am caught up. My vote is in a good place.

Because itā€™s very easy to claim to scumread someone because ā€œthey havenā€™t done enough.ā€ Effort doesnā€™t necessarily equate villageriness/wolfiness by itself. Wolves like making easy reads because they are, well, easy. Easy to fake, too. Especially earlygame, when you are settling into the thread.

Why are you asking me to tell you who you shouldā€™ve voted? Iā€™m not you, I donā€™t have the same reads as you, I donā€™t get reads the same way you do. Youā€™re the one who should know who to vote (and who should probably know better than to use that one excuse as backup for your vote).

Itā€™s going to be funny if this is an example of TMI. ā€œOh, villager, please tell me who I was supposed to vote.ā€

Agree to disagree.

I also read Mole as scum, not sure how you got the impression that I didnā€™t. I think his active shitposting while voting people for overtly wolfy things without higher-level evaluation is scummy. Itā€™s like heā€™s existing, meming, and jumping on the easiest trains. Which is how many wolves play the game of mafia.

I struggle to understand if this is a joke or not.

The fact weā€™re both townreading someone for similar reasons doesnā€™t make both of us town.

I wanna build a towncore.

Leafia?

Whoā€™s in?

The above list isnā€™t ordered.

PSA: If Ioā€™s posting doesnā€™t visibly improve before End of Day, I will probably vote there.

I started writing a response to your recent posts but Iā€™m finding myself too tired to properly give my opinions coherently. Thatā€™s not fair to anyone; so I will be re-reading these in the morning after a cup of joe.

Vulgard, I do have an unrelated question though:
Katze has stated they have a rather strong ability to read you. Does this go both ways?
