Okay, Wisp is town. The way their progression seems to work is distinctly villagery. Nothing feels fabricated or stilted, and the process isnāt rigid.
This.
Wazza claiming VT as one of the first things he did this game is unfortunately a villagery thing to do when you are under suspicion early.
āUnfortunately townā is my take. Unless they are doing it on purpose. But if not, then I think they are very likely to be town.
Their posts are justā¦ so obviously underwhelming, Iāll be surprised if this flips wolf. From my experience, the obvious answer is rarely the answer.
The amount of time ash has spent defending himself should be telling about his alignment, but I have no idea what conclusion to draw. Iāve only played with him once and I misread him when he was town. But in that game, he spent less time defending himself and more time actively scumhunting, even though I kept voting him and pushing for him.
So, based on my experience from that one game, his obsession with defending his slot is wolfy. But Iām not certain about it.
Aaaaand I am caught up. My vote is in a good place.
Because itās very easy to claim to scumread someone because āthey havenāt done enough.ā Effort doesnāt necessarily equate villageriness/wolfiness by itself. Wolves like making easy reads because they are, well, easy. Easy to fake, too. Especially earlygame, when you are settling into the thread.
Why are you asking me to tell you who you shouldāve voted? Iām not you, I donāt have the same reads as you, I donāt get reads the same way you do. Youāre the one who should know who to vote (and who should probably know better than to use that one excuse as backup for your vote).
Itās going to be funny if this is an example of TMI. āOh, villager, please tell me who I was supposed to vote.ā
Agree to disagree.
I also read Mole as scum, not sure how you got the impression that I didnāt. I think his active shitposting while voting people for overtly wolfy things without higher-level evaluation is scummy. Itās like heās existing, meming, and jumping on the easiest trains. Which is how many wolves play the game of mafia.
I struggle to understand if this is a joke or not.
The fact weāre both townreading someone for similar reasons doesnāt make both of us town.
I started writing a response to your recent posts but Iām finding myself too tired to properly give my opinions coherently. Thatās not fair to anyone; so I will be re-reading these in the morning after a cup of joe.
Vulgard, I do have an unrelated question though:
Katze has stated they have a rather strong ability to read you. Does this go both ways?
No. I seldom read kat correctly, though Iāve progressively improved at it.
I feel like Iām reading their lower effort as scummy, when itās not (at least inherently).
First off: wolfy way to shade me for changing my read.
Second: while I think they entered the thread in an obviously scummy way and continued to post like that for a while (which I read as LHF), Iām under the impression they should write a villagery post eventually if they are V. A common trend with these slots is that they do write something villagery, eventually. But if Io doesnāt, Iāll be significantly more inclined to yeet them for that reason. Now that they know they are considered underwhelming, they should step it the hell up.
I vividly remember that one slot in a game offsite where they posted in an underwhelming way, and very little too. However, they stepped it up in LyLo and were really openly nervous during every EoD, even when they were not being wagoned. It was pure. I didnāt see it then, but it really was pure.
Unwilling to jump on LHF easily for that reason, but Iām ready to flip if they donāt get better.
Nah, sleep tight.
This is relevant, by the way. I wanna build a consensus and work from there.
