You are right, you didn’t call it bad, you called it stupid . What is the difference here? I’d argue my case on pocketing is much more well-built, looking at intentions through words and how ash would perceive the thread impact of it.

SirDerpsALot - Nulltown - Quite a few of these posts look low-effort, and that makes them look a bit agenda-y. But there’s other posts that just don’t make as much sense from scum , as well as a healthy bit of analysis later on. tbh this one could go either way.

Vulgard - Scumlean - A ton of energy even out of the gate. Lots of posts and opinions, which I sorta like. But also, the reasoning behind a lot of this stuff seems kinda lacking to me. Idk but a fair bit makes more sense to me from scum than from town .

I find it interesting that you say Wisp is parroting town consensus when they were the only person to vote or suspect me. If anything, people parroted them .

I would also like you to explain why you townread me, CatLover, and Flameo for solving? Solving in itself should not be considered alignment-indicative, as strong wolves are able to have “solvey energy.” I’d like you to focus on the how and why rather than the what .

I feel like scum here would feel more driven to flesh out their reads, and make sure they can’t be faulted for what they’re doing. Derps is just evaluating people without really looking at anyone else.

Elephas is probably town based on their attitude and content thus far. There is enough meat there, and a villagery confidence underneath, that I’m willing to throw a townread there.

We’ll see how their progression changes.

Finally found the context for beps townslip, and I hardly think that bep was the origin of the 2-scum-not-3 thing. So if anything, it’s more like arete’s townslip. But it’s hardly that either. Seems just like natural conversation.

Well, I considered voting for derp for not explaining their vote. I think that’s the reason squid voted the way squid did. There could be a reason squid has that I don’t see, but I doubt it this early in the game.

This is curious how ari presumes to explain squid’s vote. I’ve seen him do some scummy things, but I don’t think that I’ve seen this before. Squid disappears for a little bit, so I think there’s a decent possibility of ari/squid.

Why are you pushing for the cop to reveal? It is not in the best interest of the town for the cop to reveal while they have no information since that puts a target on their back.

This seems to me more like a townslip. Going on the theory that the scumteam isn’t all ninnies, they probably would have discussed their cop cover. Ari seems to be ignorant of what the cover is. (These posts were at about 3pm the day after SoD)

This is wierd, pretty sure it’s NAI, but I think it definitely rules out merc/ari. It’s obviously a joke, it just doesn’t make sense for scum!ari to just drop a vote on a scumbuddy, with no apparent intent to gain towncred.

TL;DR
Ari is probably town, because of the same townslip as kyle (while I can’t speak to kyle’s inexperience, ari is pretty new).
The ari/squid association I brought up, while kinda rude, might just be ari’s unfamiliarity with Garcia rule (had to look up that name)

I found the first 2 longer “cases” I could. Both of these do not use direct “you” statements, and instead addressed the thread as a whole, as the case is meant for the thread. OP states he was town in this game and the first cases I could find in his ISO this game address the thread and do not make general “you” statements. Even one that talks about a townlean/read, such as the one on Ari_2412.

So far, when looking at past cases, he does not use “you” statements and instead addresses thread specifically. Therefore, I think that with my previous statements it is much more likely that he is just trying to appeal to me specifically with these “you” statements, rather than actually explain to the thread why he reads me as town.
