His doesnt feel as forced imo. I think urs feels a hell of a lot more. Knowing surge and how he posts he doesnt read thread when he comes in. He does it where he jumps to the bottom says something and then goes back to the top. U can see that from his first few posts. While u on the other hand did it and then did another and actively saw a live thread. Surge came into a dead thread. Hey I’ll cut u some slack and not read u by that for now, but I want to see more expansion in your reads

The thing with Derps is that he does this as either alignment. I can usually read him on tone/gut, but I have a similar mindset to Derps and have hydra’d with Derps twice.
I think you have to agree that this opener feels a lot different to the one in this game, in this one he mostly starts of slow, and mostly sticks to sheep votes. While in our game he goes straight to the offense, and tries to push for a quickelim only a few hours after the day start.

Derps is the sort of player to push for a quickelim after a long time imo, not the sort of player who goes straight on the offensive like Surge for example
From the quotes ur showing me I disagree. He starts off with a vote in his second post. Something he mentioned wanting to do so very early in his posting. I think the aggressiveness is comparable or more tamed at first at least

That’s actually a fair point. Like I don’t remember him doing this too much in my past games with him as town. I know he did it in Uminecko and SFoL -1, but in some of my previous of site games he is usually a bit more cautious. Don’t scumread him for this right away, but it’s something I plan to look into

these posts are very similar imo, A jokey post and then an excuse for not posting.
However even though he doesnt post much, he spends his time very constructively. And usually makes reads that make logical sense, he’s doing that in this game too.
I think these posts are both similar in content and tone that I think Gorta is probably town. However I would like to see more posts from Gorta anyways.
The only read I remember from gorta was a soul read he spout about every game that’s been wrong as Arete has provided. If hes provided other reads my bad. But I don’t recall them from either of my two read through of thread
