Well, I saw him on me last night so he had to have an excuse either way to be on me. Cop or bodyguard, both make sense. The thing is that he (and probably most of you, at that point) kind of knew I was an investigative PR, which means he could have expected me to rolecheck him or something. I claimed tracker pretty quickly since people were genuinely wondering what I did during the night, and said I saw Cloned on me.
Cloned had an opportunity to claim basically anything that was a PR with a night action and all I would know is that he was on me, but not what he was doing on me. So yes, Kiro, there’s absolutely still a chance Cloned is scum. But why claim second protective as scum? That’s riskier than claiming protective first.
We can also consider the sequence of events:
Cloned claimed cop, said I was scum
We all speculated on the possibility of a framer
Kiro said he wanted to tell “the truth”
Gorta and I (and maybe Cloned) told him to wait until everyone else had spoken first
Kiro went ahead and claimed doctor
Cloned claimed bodyguard, said the cop check was BS
If I were scum, it would be fairly easy for me to change my claim, too, and claim cop, say I investigated Cloned and found that he was lying about his role or that I found him as scum. I could have done that immediately, or I could have done it after he claimed bodyguard. But all I’ve done is stuck to claiming tracker. Of course as a non-tracker I could have guessed that Cloned would try to check me or protect me (depending on if he was scum or town) because I outed as a PR, but all the confusion and interaction between us made me think we’re both town and that I was wrong about one among the two of us + Silviu being scum.
Any thoughts on this? I know I keep asking questions about this after I said we’d resolve it amongst ourselves tonight, but there’s a reason I want everyone else’s input.
I thought that wing was telling the truth because he said very quickly that he was a tracker and that he was visited by cloned. If cloned had actually been … let’s say … Vanilla town … Why would wing risk claiming that what he said cloned is real? I feel like wong is being sincere. If he’s scum, my brain will explode. I just don’t fit that into my thoughts right now. This subject is very difficult. Every time I think more I think of a thousand more things

The thing is pressure votes don’t usually do shit to increase my activity and activity (or the lack thereof) is NAI for my slot, as I can be lazy/unmotivated. Appel knows this as well, which to me looks like she is casting shade on my slot.
I also become her number 1 scum at this moment, which is strange because Appel says this a bit later

At this point I made a complete readlist and now for d2
Appel then votes me on d2 and maintains that vote for a long while even after I attempt to explain my own actions and that’s when the real shading starts.

the odd thing is that they flip back to the belief that I am a “bad towny”

I also get the vibe that Appel was trying to throw sus in between the two and get one of them out after me
Appel is a very capable wolf and usually keeps bad townies alive and tries to let the town fight each other till they lose. If we’re focusing on pairings I’m gonna say if Kiro is a wolf, he can pretty much only be a wolf with either Appel or Cloned. I feel pretty weird about the possibility that both the other PR claims are wolves, so it’s not very high on my scum pairing list and I’m kind of tempted to clear both of them since we’ll see what the night brings.
Also, Arctic, I’m still scumreading Worse based on his actions as I said. Seems like a good candidate for newbie wolf.

Well, I’m positive that Cloned was not the one who made the kill at any rate lol. That’s basically all I know. He’s a PR of some sort and he wasn’t the N1 killer.
I can only say that we must make sure we vote for a baddie. Anyway from what I said earlier I don’t think wing is telling us all lies. So he will definitely confirm another player tomorrow and live to tell the tale.
Appel likes chaos, which comes from bad townies. Like I am an easy mislynch, but the chaos that has come from this argument today isn’t the best for the threadstate. It’s easier to hide if everyone is fighting and there is chaos. My point is I don’t like how she moves me from town -> scum -> town -> to scum -> to bad towny.
